Lights of Life offers a way to remember the lives of our loved ones who have died. We often feel their absence and miss them especially during the holiday season.

Visiting a Lights of Life tree and hanging a tag in their memory is a way to bring their presence closer. It’s a meaningful thing to do on your own, or with family, friends, or coworkers.

Lights of Life trees are available throughout Whitehorse and in many Yukon communities.

Join us on Thursday December 11 at noon for the opening ceremony in Whitehorse at the Elijah Smith Building on Main Street.

From December 11 until the morning of December 18 we will have several trees in the Elijah Smith Building, including a child tree and a pet tree. There are also volunteer tree sitters ready to offer compassionate support.
