Walking in nature can be soothing when you are grieving the loss of a loved one.
Hospice Yukon is hosting a grief walking group to help you get outside and connect with others who are grieving. Share about your loved one, have someone listen to your experience of grief, gently move your body as a form of self care with others who are grieving.
The group will walk at an easy pace on the Millennium Trail, starting at the Riverdale side of the Rotary Centennial Bridge.
Hospice Volunteers walk with participants, sharing in conversation or silence, and offer tips for healthy grieving during breaks.
Drop-ins welcome. Dogs, kids and friends also welcome.
