With your permission, the practitioner will use their hands to clear and balance your energy field using gentle touch or no touch. The healing traditions of many cultures recognize the importance of balancing the energy that flows through the body to move towards a greater sense of calm and well-being.<\/p>\n<p>Hospice Yukon Healing Touch volunteers and staff are trained under the Healing Touch Program which is accredited by the Canadian and American Holistic Nurses Associations.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As a guideline we offer clients up to 8 Healing Touch sessions. For some, one session offers the support they need. For others, more may be beneficial. We recognize that every person is unique and will do our best to support you.<\/p>\n<p>I understand that Healing Touch is a gentle and safe approach to wellness that involves gentle touch or placing hands close to the body. I understand that Healing Touch is complementary to other therapies and is not intended as a substitute for medical treatment, nor is it used to diagnose any condition.<\/p>\n<div
