Save the dates for this two-day, retreat style workshop that we offer just once a year at beautiful McClintock Bay Adventures at Marsh Lake. It is geared towards professionals who support others in their work… nurses, therapists, teachers, counsellors, and others.
Many jobs that involve supporting and caring for other people also often involve loss and grief. The way we respond to grief, both our own and our clients, impacts the quality and sustainability of our work, as well as our personal health.
This educational and rejuvenating two-day workshop offers:
- An in-depth look at how we grieve
- Skills and resources for supporting others through loss
- Practical tools for reducing stress and finding balance in your professional life
- The opportunity to feel renewed and more confident in supporting yourself, your co-workers and your clients
This is a learning opportunity that blends gentle self-care time with presentations and discussions. We hope you’ll join us.
Who should attend?
Nurses, teachers, social workers, home support staff, therapists, child care workers, counsellors, emergency medical staff, FN health workers, RCMP, and anyone who supports others as part of their work.
