Walking in nature is a wonderful way to nurture yourself when you are grieving the loss of a loved one.
This fall, Hospice Yukon is hosting a grief walking group to help you get outside and connect with others who are grieving. Moving the legs and breathing a little deeper can help shift our emotions.
The group will walk at an easy pace around the 4km Millennium Trail, starting at the SS Klondike.
Hospice Volunteers walk with participants, sharing in conversation or silence, and offer tips for healthy grieving during breaks.
All participants must be pre-registered. Well-behaved dogs on leash are welcomed.
